I’ve recently added a new photo – White trillium – trillium grandiflorum – to my Beautifulflowerpictures.com website.

The White Trillium (trillium grandiflorum) are one of the earliest trilliums to bloom in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee each spring. Which means most years – they’ve finished blooming by the time I get there in mid-April. This year, I finally got to photograph some amazing white trillium. I photographed this beautiful trillium in the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest in the mountains of North Carolina.

This photograph is available as a 10 X 10″ or 20 X 20″ gallery-wrapped canvas. You can order White trillium – trillium grandiflorum from my website.

When I saw this group of El Nino Tulips – I knew I had to photograph them – and that when I printed the photo that it would be a panoramic photo. I couldn’t believe all the shades of red, pink, orange and yellow in these incredible tulips – and knew that I had to share them with you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

This photograph is available as an 8 X 18″ or 14 X 30″ gallery-wrapped canvas. You can order El Nino Tulips from my website.

I’ve recently added a new photo – Pink & Purple Columbine – to my Beautifulflowerpictures.com website.

Each year in early May, Columbine blooms at the local botanical gardens in a rainbow of colors. I spotted this set of columbine in shades of pinks and purples after a morning rain – and knew I had to photograph it. I really liked seeing the water droplet on the end of the columbine bud.

This photograph is available as a 12 X 18″ or 20 X 30″ gallery-wrapped canvas. You can order Pink & Purple Columbine from my website.

New Photo: Bleeding Hearts

Bleeding Hearts

I’ve recently added a new photo – Bleeding Hearts – to my Beautifulflowerpictures.com website.

Bleeding Hearts (Dicentra spectabilis) are one of my favorite spring flowers. I love seeing the heart-shaped splashes of pink and white against the greens of the garden.

The heart shaped varieties seen in gardens originated in Japan. They were introduced in England in the 1840s, and then imported to the United States. There is also a type of bleeding hearts (Dicentra exima) native to the United States. I’ve photographed the wild bleeding hearts in the mountains of Tennessee.

This photograph is available as a 10 X 10″ or 20 X 20″ gallery-wrapped canvas. You can order Bleeding Hearts from my website.
