One of my challenges as a photographer is how do I convey a sense of movement or the passage of time in a still photograph. After all, I’m often capturing just a quick moment in time. By holding the shutter on my camera open for a longer time, I can show motion. In this case, it’s the lights on Christmas tree as it rotates on it’s stand.
