Beautiful Dahlias 2017 – My New Video

Beautiful Dahlias 2017 – My New Video

Dahlias are some of my favorite flowers to photograph. Whether at a local garden, a dahlia society show or in my studio, I find myself fascinated with all the colors, shapes and patterns I see in the petals. I’ve created a video with some of my recent dahlia photos. The photos are accompanied by Clementi’s Sonatina No 5, Opus 36.

I hope you enjoy my new video

If you like dahlias as much as I do, you can see more of my dahlia photos on my blog at http://www.beautifulflowerpictures.com/blog/?s=dahlia

Beautiful Irises 2017 – My New Video

I love photographing irises. They are one of my favorite spring flowers. From the little dwarf irises that bloom in March to the Siberian and Bearded irises blooming in April & May and ending with the Water Irises blooming in June, I can photograph irises for months here in the Washington DC area.    I’ve created a new video for you with some of my recent iris photos. The photos are accompanied by an arrangement for flute and harp based on Bizet’s L’arlesienne.

I hope you enjoy seeing my new video

If you like photographing irises as much as I do, join me for my Gardens of Philadlephia workshop from May 15-20. We’ll be visiting several gardens that should have irises in bloom and ready to photograph.

If you  have any questions about this workshop, just drop me a note and we’ll find time to talk.

Peaceful Beauty 2016

Peaceful Beauty 2016

It’s hard to believe that it’s almost the end of 2016. As I look back, I’ve had a wonderful year and have so much to be grateful for. I often say that I have the best job in the world – that I photograph flowers, and landscapes. And I really do mean it because not only do I get to spend my time in nature photographing but I also get to talk with people about photography, nature, flower, beautiful landscapes and wonderful places. .

I’ve put together a new video for you this holiday season – Peaceful Beauty 2016. It has some of my favorite photographs that I edited this year accompanied Bach’s Jesus, Joy of Man’s Desiring.

As 2016 comes to a close, I’d like to thank you for all your support and encouragement of me this year. It has meant the world to me.

I’d also like to wish you and all your friends and families a very safe, peaceful and wonderful holiday season and a very Happy New Year.
