Tentative Schedule:

July 8, Evening session 7 - 9 PM: Introduction to photographing the beauty of nature

July 9, Morning session 7 - 11 AM: Photographing at Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens. Likely subjects include lotus blossoms, water lilies, wildflowers and wildlife

July 9, Afternoon session 1 - 4 PM: Creating the photographs you want.

Saturday AM session will be at Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens

Friday and Saturday PM sessions: Location TBD.

About Kenilworth Gardens and Aquatic Park

Located in North East Washington, DC along the Anacostia River, Kenilworth Gardens and Aquatic Park is one of the hidden gems of the National Park System. The park features wetlands and ponds full of water lilies and lotus blossoms.

A few more details:

Food, lodging and transportation are not included in the cost of the workshop. I will send you information a few weeks before the workshop with all the details about when and where we will be meeting.

We will photograph on Saturday morning - rain or shine. So be prepared for the weather.

It is likely to be hot, humid and buggy at Kenilworth Gardens. Be sure to bring sun screen, bug spray and bottled water to drink.

Cancellation policy: Workshop registration fees are fully refundable before June 1, 2011. Fees for cancellations made after June 1 will be refunded if I am able to fill your space with another workshop participant.
